Signing Day for Members of the Class of 2025

To celebrate the Griswold High School Class of 2025 student-athletes who have committed to continuing their athletic careers in college, Griswold Public Schools is hosting a Signing Day event on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. in the Griswold High School gymnasium (267 Slater Avenue, Griswold, CT 06351). RSVPs are encouraged. At the event, 10 members of the Class of 2025 will ceremonially sign letters of intent. A reception with refreshments will follow the event. The event will also be streamed live on the Griswold Sports Network (youtube.com/c/griswoldsports).

Graduating student-athletes invited to participate in the signing day on April 29 are:

• Alexis Emanuele, Westfield State University, Lacrosse
• Jackson Fleming, University of New Haven, Football
• Olivia Freyer, Merrimack College, Cheerleading
• Sam Gilgenbach, Springfield College, Baseball
• Andrew Hardin, Post University, Baseball
• Brenden Hopkins, Tiffin University (OH), Track & Field
• Gennaro Lavado, Illinois College, Soccer
• Kaylin Stockwell, Western CT State University, Lacrosse
• Josh Turner, Curry College, Football 

Congratulations to all of these student-athletes and their families! Pursuing athletics in college is a huge commitment and achievement.
