Success Signals -- Data Dashboard Site

Welcome to Success Signals, Griswold Public Schools’ one-stop data dashboard site for key student performance information. Here you’ll find reports and summaries from SBAC, PSAT/SAT, and Advanced Placement (AP) testing. You'll also find information on Griswold's Aimsweb assessment results; Griswold Public Schools administers Aimsweb three times each year. We're also proud to share the list of colleges and universities that recent Griswold High School Classes were accepted to. This page also contains resources from the Connecticut State Department of Education.

Student performance data is complex, and aligned with our commitment to the whole child, test scores are just one piece of the picture alongside growth, teacher-crafted assignments, project-based learning, community service learning, student grades, overall performance, and apprenticeships.

This page will be updated regularly to keep families and staff informed with the latest insights.

EdSight CT Report Cards:

EdSight is the interactive data portal for Connecticut's public districts, schools, and programs. The Connecticut State Department of Education (CSDE) is committed to enhancing the public’s access to information and data on schools and districts, helping inform local boards of education and others about their communities' education systems.

EdSight's Connecticut Report Cards are visual multi-year reports with up-to-date metrics on students, educators, instruction, and performance.

Please note: Due to EdSight's site security, the direct links below may not work. If this is the case, please visit the EdSight homepage on the ct.gov website, click on "District/School," and then select "Griswold School District" from the drop-down. From there, you can review district and school data.

Advanced Placement (AP) Data

Griswold students consistently excel beyond state and global averages in AP Exams. AP course offerings at Griswold High School begin in the freshman year. Learn more about Dual Credit Course Offerings at GHS here.

Many Griswold High School students receive an AP Scholar designation before they graduate; some earn the AP Scholar designation as early as after their sophomore year. Qualifications for  AP Scholars are:

  • AP Scholar: Score 3 or higher on 3 AP Exams
  • AP Scholar with Honors: Score 3 or higher on 4 AP Exams, and have a test average of 3.25
  • AP Scholar with Distinction: Score 3 or higher on 5 AP Exams, and have a test average of 3.5

College Acceptances

Griswold graduates are prepared for life beyond high school and have been accepted into some of the most prestigious colleges across the nation, including Ivy League schools, large universities, and private colleges.

Each year, the University of Connecticut also provides the Presidential Scholars Award for Valedictorians and Salutatorians from Griswold High School and other CT high schools. This is a merit-based scholarship for Connecticut residents ranking #1 or #2 in their class, offering a renewable 4-year award. Recipients also receive a one-time $2,500 Presidential Scholars Enrichment Award to fund research, study abroad, internships, or public service. Top students often participate in the UConn Honors Program, which graduates about 400 students yearly. Many of our top-ranking students have accepted this award to kickstart their future.
