Upcoming meeting: Monday, February 10, 2025 Public Hearing A public hearing is scheduled for Thursday, February 6 at 5:30 p.m. in the GMS Cafeteria. This meeting was rescheduled from Thursday, Feb. 6.	The Griswold Board of Education, at their Special meeting on 2/10/25, adopted the Initial Budget Proposal, put forward by the Superintendent and the administrative team. Next step: The Board will present their Initial Budget Proposal to the Town of Griswold, Board of Finance, on February 24th, 2025.
February 24th, 2025 Town of Griswold, Board of Finance Meeting, Town Hall, 6:00 pm	Superintendent McKenna presented the adopted Initial Budget Proposal of the Griswold Board of Education for the 2025-2026 School Year. Next step: The Board of Finance will continue to review all town budgets in the upcoming weeks. Stay tuned.
April 10th, 2025 At this meeting, the superintendent presented proposed suggestions to achieve a preliminary reduction to the budget.	Note: The proposed reductions in the document below are preliminary; they are not finalized. There are still many steps ahead before the Board of Finance finalizes a budget to forward to the Selectmen who will forward to the voters. Proposed reductions document.
April 29th, 2025 TOWN PUBLIC HEARING at Griswold Middle School cafeteria at 6:00 pm.
June 3rd, 2025 The Town Referendum on the Town and on the Board of Education.	The Board of Education budget did not advance.
June 11th, 2025 The Board of Education budget was reduced by $450,000, thereby lowering the mil rate further.
June 24th, 2025 The scheduled Referendum on the newly proposed Board of Education budget, which includes a $450,000 reduction.
